Mother’s Day at Baía Mall was joyfully celebrated, with numerous special activities and moments crafted to make participating mothers feel cherished and appreciated.
From April 23rd to May 6th, 2024, an exhibition was held featuring special messages dedicated to mothers. The authors were representatives from companies and organizations directly involved in initiatives aimed at honoring and caring for the mothers of our country. The following participated: Maputo Central Hospital, Bebé Giro, Seaside,Água da Namaacha, Jornal Notícias, Amodefa and Brechó da Suneyla. a, Bons Sonhos, Docionário, Jotacê, Betos Look, Tshuvuka e Baía Mall. We initiated a social media challenge where participants were invited to share a heartfelt letter (up to 100 words) showcasing their love, respect, and appreciation for their mothers. The letters submitted were exhibited at Baía Mall, and the winners were selected by the event sponsors. Prizes included store vouchers from Brechó da Suneyla, Bons Sonhos e Seaside. At Maputo Central Hospital, we celebrated the arrival of the first baby born on Mother’s Day, a healthy boy delivered precisely at 01:20. To further commemorate this special moment, we gifted the newborn and his mother a complete layette from Bebe Giro Moçambique, a stunning bouquet of flowers from Woolworths Mozambique, a book from Alcance Editores, and a kitchen kit from Delicart.
